The Stores Section has been established to streamline procurement operations by centralizing the purchase and storage at a single location of essential items required for the various market yards and departments of the Market Committee. These items include printed stationery, general office supplies, furniture, computers, computer peripherals, electrical equipment, and similar materials. Furthermore, the section maintains a dedicated register to record non-consumable goods, thereby ensuring transparency and efficiency in the procurement process. The operations of the Stores Section are managed by two Junior Clerks and one Assistant.
