Farmers are given mortgage on their farm produce. The pledge scheme provides 75% of the loan amount at an interest rate of 6%.

According to Resolution No. 09 of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee dated 19/11/2016, Shri. Sai Samadhan Caterers, Selu, was granted permission to operate a 'Zunka Bhakar' (a traditional Maharashtrian meal) center. Under this scheme, farmers who bring their agricultural produce for sale at the committee's market yard are provided with a Zunka Bhakar meal for Rs. 5/-. It was decided that the market committee would contribute Rs. 5/- and the commission agents would also contribute Rs. 5/- towards this scheme. This scheme is a commendable initiative implemented by the market committee, providing meals to farmers visiting the market yard in the taluka and safeguarding their interests.
